- Provide cutting-edge ideas and strategies for clients’ public relations, marketing and digital programs.
- Build and nurture relationships with clients. Earn clients trust in yourself and the firm, both in a professional setting and in the community.
- Ensure client goals and objectives are met or exceeded, on time and on budget, with measured results.
- Manage and implement a variety of integrated communications programs such as media relations, marketing, social media, client events, and creative and digital services.
- Participate in brainstorming/creative sessions to generate new ideas and strategies, as well as support the ideation and concepting of campaigns.
- Ensure the firm’s quality control procedures are followed on all projects by maintaining brand consistency and a strong attention to detail.
- Anticipate and/or troubleshoot any problems as they arise. Regularly communicate status of projects to account team.
- Stay updated on current industry trends and adjust public relations, marketing and digital strategies as needed.
- Be knowledgeable of all applicable corporate policies and suggest policy changes if necessary.
- Foster a culture of collaboration and team spirit with staff, clients and vendors.

- You’ll also seek counsel from the firm’s financial team to execute our financial policies and procedures as they relate to client plans and budgets.

Although we look for some key attributes that are important to the kind of work we do, we learned long ago that the greatest predictors of success are attitude, character, strategic thinking, a team mentality and a willingness to grow. Other qualifications may include:
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, business or a related field.
- A minimum of five years of experience working in a public relations or marketing position, with the ability to produce cutting-edge strategic communications programs within budgetary guidelines.
- Proficient in monitoring and analyzing metrics for marketing, social media and the web, as well as developing reports to show results.
- Possessing strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
- Being detail-oriented, having good organizational skills and working well under deadline pressures.
- Self-motivation to achieve professional and personal growth.
- Valuing high-quality control standards in all aspects of the production process.
