With over 15 years living and working in the heart of Nashville’s buzzing technology community, Julie brings to Werth an entrepreneurial mindset that drives creative, forward-thinking solutions for our clients and new ways of approaching business development for Werth.
A master problem solver, Julie uses her analytical prowess and keen emotional intelligence to not only quickly understand the root of issues, but identify and exploit opportunities in not-so-obvious places. In short, she asks the right questions.
With special interest in technology and health policy, Julie helped found the Nashville chapter of the Social Enterprise Alliance while leading the business and operational strategy of two Nashville-based startups: ToGoTechnologies — a digital ordering provider with a cloud-based takeout management system for restaurants, and the Dispensary of Hope — a not-for-profit pharmaceutical distributor for the poor and uninsured (the very first of its kind).
At ToGoTechnologies, Julie focused on delivering a best-in-class user experience, outstanding client service, and operational excellence companywide. At the Dispensary of Hope, Julie helped develop the model by which pharmaceutical manufacturers and physicians donated medications to the uninsured, all while ensuring end-to-end supply-chain compliance. Building this network required her powerful ability to bridge the communication gap between our nation’s safety-net providers and the hospital and pharmaceutical manufacturer partners most capable of meeting human needs.
Additionally, Julie taught Human and Organization Development at Vanderbilt University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors and Master of Business Administration on a full academic scholarship.
